Wild, P.C. (GW) is pleased to announce that founding
partner/chairman Robert A. Wild has been selected by
Long Island Business News (LIBN) to the
Leadership in Law Class of 2011 in the “Firm
Partners” category. An awards dinner took place at the
Crest Hollow County Club on Monday, November 14, to
celebrate those being honored. In its first year, the
LIBN awards program is dedicated to those outstanding
individuals whose leadership, both in the legal
profession and in the community, has had a positive
impact on Long Island. Selection of winners was based on
nominations, including testimonials from superiors,
peers and clients, and biographical information that
reflected the individual’s career and professional
accomplishments.
Mr. Wild brings with him years of legal experience and
insight when addressing the legal, regulatory, business
and financial needs of the firm’s clients. His principal
activities include complex transactions for healthcare
providers, including regulatory, compliance, mergers and
acquisitions, antitrust, reimbursement, professional
conduct and patient issues, real estate, graduate
medical education and more. Clients include an array of
national and regional healthcare provider institutions,
companies, practitioners and not-for-profit groups, as
well as clients in other industries.
Along with providing counsel to clients, Mr. Wild is
also Board Chair for United Way of Long Island and
Director of the Nassau Interim Finance Authority (NIFA).
He has been included in Super Lawyers, The Best
Lawyers in America and Chambers and Partners
as America’s leading business lawyer in “Health Care”
for several consecutive years. Formerly an Adjunct
Professor of Health Law at Hofstra University Law
School, he is a frequent lecturer and author in the
field of health law. Mr. Wild received his BA from SUNY
Buffalo and his JD from St. John’s University School of
Law.
