He represents various hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians’ practices and other health care-related clients. Mr. Brown was selected as Leadership Fellow for the State of New Jersey in which capacity he analyzed the issue of health care in terms of its statewide significance. A frequent speaker on health care issues, he has lectured at Seton Hall University School of Law (where he serves on the Advisory Board of the Health Law & Policy Program), as well as before the New Jersey Association of Health Care Facilities, Bergen County Medical Society, Bergen County Bar Association, and more.

Kimberly Kempton-Serra, a GW Associate and member of the Business and Health Care Practice Groups, advises clients on a host of health care and general commercial matters. These include business structuring, federal and state law regulatory compliance, tax issues, mergers, sales and acquisitions of various health care entities, technology contracts and employment and equity ownership agreements for practices and health care facilities. She is an Adjunct Professor in the MSJ Program at Seton Hall University School of Law, where she teaches Health Law.

Rebecca A. Levy, a Senior Attorney and member of the Compliance and White Collar Defense and Health Care Practice Groups, represents hospitals and physicians with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating contractual arrangements, and responding to various patient care issues. She also provides regular counseling to physicians who are establishing their own medical practices, joining existing medical practices or seeking to expand their current medical practices. Ms. Levy advises various health care practitioners on structuring arrangements to ensure compliance with Federal Stark and Anti-Kickback laws, as well as the New Jersey “Codey” Law. She was honored as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010.
