P.C. Names Two New Partners
Great Neck, NY, July 30,
2010. The law firm of Garfunkel Wild, P.C. (GW) is
pleased to announce that attorneys
Stacey L. Gulick
and Robert E.
Schiller have been named partners of the firm.
Ms. Gulick, who joined the
firm in 2001, is a member of the Health Care, HIPAA,
Health Care Information and Technology and Compliance
and White Collar Defense Practice Groups. She has
extensive experience in health care administration,
having worked as a medical staff coordinator, risk
manager and compliance officer for several years prior
to becoming an attorney. She received her B.A./Masters
in Business Administration and Masters in Health
Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and her
J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
Mr. Schiller, who joined the
firm in 2007, is a member of the Health Care and the
Insurance Regulatory Practice Groups. His practice
includes regulatory counseling and provider
representation in managed care contract negotiations,
audits and payment disputes with payors. Prior to
joining GW, he was in-house regulatory counsel with
Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield for eight years. He was
also with the Albany law firm of Hinman Straub for six
years where he represented a number of payors on
transactional, regulatory and legislative matters. He
received his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and
his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University.
