is pleased to announce that
Jacqueline H.
Finnegan,
Lauren M. Levine and
Rebecca A. Edelman
Levy have been appointed senior attorneys.
Ms. Finnegan, who joined the
firm in 2006, is a member of the Health Care and the
Compliance and White Collar Defense Practice Groups,
advising hospitals, physicians, and other health care
providers on a wide range of regulatory, and compliance
matters. Her practice focuses primarily on health care
fraud and abuse issues, including representing providers
in government audits and investigations, advising
providers on reimbursement matters, and developing
corporate compliance programs for providers. Prior to
joining GW, she was an associate with Sonnenschein, Nath
& Rosenthal, LLP in its national health care group.
Before becoming an attorney, she was a practicing
registered nurse. She received her B.S.N. from Old
Dominion University and her J.D. from George Washington
University School of Law.
Ms. Levine, who joined the
firm in 2005, is a member of the Litigation &
Arbitration Practice Group. She represents clients in a
wide variety of commercial and business disputes in all
phases of litigation. Her practice also focuses on
employment law, defending clients against all types of
employment claims. In addition, Ms Levine has experience
representing hospitals in medical staff credentialing
and peer review matters. She received her B.A. from the
State University of New York at Buffalo and her J.D.
from Hofstra University School of Law.
Ms. Edelman Levy, who joined
the firm in 2004, is a member of the Compliance and
White Collar Defense and Health Care Practice Groups.
Her practice includes the representation of various
hospitals and other institutional clients with an
emphasis on regulatory compliance, physician
recruitment, drafting and negotiating contractual
arrangements, drafting policies and procedures, and
responding to various patient care issues. She received
her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and her
J.D. (with a certified concentration in Health Law) from
Seton Hall University School of Law.
