4, 2010… Garfunkel Wild & Travis, P.C., a leading
health care law firm that will celebrate its 30th
anniversary in 2010, has changed its name to Garfunkel
Wild, P.C. The firm will also further expand its Long
Island offices to meet the needs of its growing client
base and to position itself for the future.
Founded in 1980, the firm’s
history has been marked by significant growth,
especially during the past decade. The number of firm
attorneys more than doubled to 80, non-legal staff grew
to 77, and firm locations expanded from one to three
offices in the tri-state area.

depth of experience and commitment to client service,”
said Founding Partner and Chairman Robert Andrew Wild.

The firm
expanded to New Jersey in 2001 and Connecticut in 2007,
and continues to increase its array of traditional legal
services to more broadly address the needs of its
non-health care clients, as well as its health care
clients. Mr. Wild attributed the firm's growth to
increased demand for its services by hospitals, doctors,
and a wide range of other organizations in the health
care industry that face increasingly complex legal,
regulatory, business and financial issues.
