  • June 11, 2010 - Andrew Blustein will present a NY Legislative Update for the past year at The Association of Healthcare Risk Management of New York, Inc.   • May 26, 2010 - Jeff Adest and Lourdes Martinez to speak at the NYAHSA Spring Training Institute and Exhibition.  Mr. Adest's topic will address Voluntary Disclosure to Government Agencies and Ms. Martinez's topic will address Public Health Law Section 2803-d, reporting abuses of persons receiving care or services in residential health care facilities.  The Conference will be held from May 24-26, 2010 at The Saratoga Hilton Hotel & Conference Center, Saratoga Springs, NY.

  • January 8, 2010 - Peter Mancino and Stacey Gulick will present at the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York's 2010 Mid Winter. Topics will include an update on significant changes to the HIPAA privacy and security requirements and compare existing HIPAA requirements and show the new mandates established by the HITECH Act.   • October 29, 2009 Andrew Blustein and Debra Silverman will participate in a panel discussion on the Legal Implications of "Physician Alignment Strategies" presented by HFMA Hudson Valley NY Chapter.   • October 15, 2009 Fred Miller will be one of the speakers at the 2009 New Jersey HFMA Annual Institute.
