The U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services, Office of Civil Rights
("OCR") announced on March 13, 2012 that it settled with
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee ("BCBS") for $1.5
million as a result of a breach reported under the
HITECH breach notification rule.
