CMS Issued the Final Rule Updating Home Health
Rates and Policies |
On November 3, 2010, the
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued
the final rule to update the home health prospective
payment system (HH PPS) rates and change the
certification requirements for home health agencies (HHAs)
and hospices. The final rule also addressed other policy
areas, such as therapy coverage and patient assessment
standards and the 36-month ownership transfer
limitations for HHAs.
