Biography
Matthew M. Shatzkes is an associate
at Garfunkel Wild, P.C., which he joined in 2011. He is a
member of the firm's Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group,
which represents clients in all phases of civil litigation
before both state and federal courts, as well as alternative
dispute resolution bodies.
Mr. Shatzkes received his B.A. magna cum laude, from
Brooklyn College, The City University of New York in 2008, and
his J.D., cum laude, from St. John's University School of
Law in 2011, where he was the Associate Managing Editor of the
Journal of Civil & Economic Development. Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Shatzkes worked as a judicial fellow for the
Honorable Roger N. Rosengarten at the New York Supreme Court,
Queens County, and as an associate at Leav & Steinberg, LLP, a
personal injury firm in Manhattan.
