Biography
George M. Garfunkel was a founding member of the firm,
whose practice concentrated on representing clients as
individuals and groups in the areas of business,
personal and estate planning, pension and tax, with
special emphasis on their particular application to
health care providers, both individual and corporate.
Mr. Garfunkel has been a Board Member and President of
the New Rochelle Public Library, a Board Member and
Chairman of the American Cancer Society Westchester
Division, and he served three terms as a Director of the
Berkshire Taconic Foundation, Inc. (a community
foundation), and one term as Trustee of the Sharon
Hospital in Connecticut.
Mr. Garfunkel received his B.A. from Cornell University
in 1960 and his J.D. from Columbia University School of
Law in 1963. |
