Biography
Ms. Finnegan, who joined the firm in 2006, is a
member of the Health Care and the Compliance and White
Collar Defense Practice Groups, advising hospitals,
physicians, and other health care providers on a wide
range of regulatory, and compliance matters. Her practice
focuses primarily on health care fraud and abuse issues,
including representing providers in government audits
and investigations, advising providers on reimbursement
matters, and developing corporate compliance programs
for providers.
Prior to
joining GW, she was an associate with Sonnenschein, Nath
& Rosenthal, LLP in its national health care group.
Before becoming an attorney, she was a practicing
registered nurse.
She received
her B.S.N. from Old Dominion University and her J.D.
from George Washington University School of Law.
