Biography
Jeffry Adest is a partner at Garfunkel Wild, P.C. He joined the firm in 1999 and is a member of the
firm’s Health Care, Business and HIPAA Compliance
practice groups, advising clients on a wide range of
business, regulatory and transactional matters.
Mr. Adest represents numerous nursing homes, long-term
care facilities, hospitals, physicians, federally
qualified health centers and other health care clients
in a variety of corporate and regulatory transactions
and matters in both New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Adest has recently assisted a number of entities in
the establishment of federally qualified health centers.
Mr. Adest also has special expertise in the formation
and operation of multi-specialty
practices.
Mr. Adest is a frequent lecturer on nursing home issues,
physician practice issues and HIPAA Compliance.
Mr. Adest was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1996 and
the New York Bar in 1997. He is a member of the New York
Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the
American Health Lawyers Association.
Mr. Adest received his B.S. from Yeshiva University in
1992 and his J.D. from New York University School of Law
in 1995.
